These manufacturing grade beans (Grade 1 Vanilla Beans) are drier than our gourmet beans, averaging 20-25% moisture content, as opposed to the 30-35% moisture content of our gourmet beans. We use them to make our premium, certified organic vanilla extract. They are of uneven lengths and may have a few blemishes - so they may not be the "prettiest" beans on the block.
