*What are Post-Extracted Ground Vanilla Beans?
The beans have been used for making vanilla extract, so they are not "virgin" any more. We only use our beans once before making ground vanilla, unlike some manufacturers which will use their beans twice or more. These post-extracted beans have little flavor left in them, however, and are used primarily for "look" and texture, rather than to add flavor to your product.

Certified Organic means that a non-profit, state or private certification organization, accredited by the United States Department Of Agriculture (USDA), has verified that products labeled as organic meet strictly defined organic standards. Our organic products are certified by Quality Assurance International (QAI), which also meets international (IFOAM) standards of organic accreditation.

Vanilla beans, an agricultural product, are Generally Recognized as Kosher (GRAK) and need no Kosher certification. Amadeus Vanilla Beans extract products manufactured by Gold Coast Ingredients, Inc. are Certified OU Kosher Parve.
